Q: I HAVE A FOOD BUSINESS IN A EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRY. I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS. WHAT DO I DO?

It couldn’t be simpler. Contact our Export Office. They will ask you for your company details, including your VAT number. We will send you the Export Price List and the Product Catalogue (which you can also download directly from our website). The Price list is updated every month. There is are no customs duties or VAT on sales within the E.U.

Q: I HAVE RECEIVED THE PRICE LIST:. DOES IT INCLUDE TRANSPORT?

No. The prices are ex-works our warehouse in Abbiategrasso, the transport costs are payable by you.

Q: I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSPORT. CAN YOU ORGANIZE ARRANGE SHIPMENT?

Yes. If you decide to entrust us with the shipment, we will send you the best quotation among those provided by the couriers with whom we work with. The shipments are always carried out on refrigerated transport vehicles and the rate is per pallet for a maximum weighting a maximum of 600 kg. The transport cost will be charged in the invoice, without any charge from us. If the courier does not provide for the exchange of pallet, we will have to charge €8 for the cost of the EUR/EPAL pallet.

Q: I ALREADY PURCHASE PRODUCTS IN ITALY AND ORGANISE GROUPAGE SHIPMENT FROM A PLATFORM IN ITALY. CAN YOU TAKE THE GOODS TO MY SHIPPER?

Yes, it is fairly common practice. In this case we will charge you the transport rate €/kg Italy.

Q: I AM INTERESTED IN SEVERAL OF YOUR PRODUCTS. IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?

No. Since you pay for the transport costs, you decide how many kilos to purchase, bearing in mind the transport cost per kg of the goods. For some products, the unit of sale is the piece, for others the unit of sale is the carton. This information (US/CT) is shown for each product in the Product Catalogue.

Q: WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF PAYMENT?

We work with a primary credit insurance company that will assess your company’s credit rating. If the assessment is positive and the credit line is granted, the payment will be on credit. Otherwise, we will ask you to pay in advance against a Proforma invoice and the order will only be shipped after the bank transfer has been credited to our account.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TOTAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE THE GOODS I ORDERED?

It depends on the destinations and the couriers. The are no daily shipments for outside Italy. Lorries usually depart on Tuesdays and Fridays. The delivery times are on average two2-three3 working days. In the event of customers with credit payment, an order that arrives by 9 am in the morning is prepared and shipped the same day.

Q: I AM AN IMPORTER OF A NON-EU COUNTRY. I NEED THE A HEALTH CERTIFICATE TO IMPORT INTO MY COUNTRY. CAN YOU ARRANGE IT?

Yes. We export regularly to several Non-EU countries and have consolidated experience for everything related to supporting documentation required by the different countries.

Q: ARE THE PRODUCTS I SEE IN THE CATALOGUE ALWAYS AVAILABLE?

In the vast majority of cases, yes. It might happen that some are momentarily out-of-stock, due to higherthan-expected sales or due to the temporary unavailability of the supplier. Some product lines need to be pre-ordered: Mozzarella di Bufala (excluding the ‘ciuffo’ pack of 250 g that is always available), Burrate and Fiordilatte, Linea Peppino Occelli.

Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE LABELS IN LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ITALIAN?

Our quotes refer to products with a standard label in the Italian language. Any requests for labels in any other languages will be assessed and quoted.
